Thank you for your enquiry. If you’d like to explore the options available for your home and get an idea of costs before arranging a survey, I’ll need a few details to get started.

The information required is as follows:

1. A photo or video of your existing fireplace or chimney breast, together with the width (measured from outside corner to outside corner) and the depth (from the wall into the room). This helps me recommend the most suitable stove, hearth, beam or surround for your space.

2. A photo or video taken from outside, looking back towards the house and showing the chimney stack. If you haven’t yet moved in, Google Street View is often a useful alternative. This allows me to assess access, chimney height and estimate the length of flue liner required.

3. Your full name, installation address and email address, so that I can send your quotation and any additional information.

Feel free to send everything via WhatsApp or text to 07984 514117. WhatsApp is ideal, as it makes sharing photos quick and easy, and I’ll usually be able to reply a little faster. If technology isn’t your thing, that’s absolutely fine—you’re always welcome to call me directly to discuss your project and arrange a visit.

One final thought: I’d be tempted to change “The information required is as follows” to “To get started, I’ll just need the following:”. It’s slightly warmer and fits the tone of the rest of the website, but the current wording is perfectly professional if you’d prefer to keep it.
